the usual mangement strike lecture


We dont understand why you are willing to lose another days pay ,when you lot have just voted to strike nationally .

That would be a start, but I'd be prepared to settle for a clear out of all current managers for getting us into this mess in the first place. What good would it do to return to work while all you bully boys are still in place and living off our earnings? We would be on strike again before we knew it. I know a certain person on here would like you all to be shot, but I'm a moderate. I'd just sack the whole sponging lot of you.

We had National Agreements but RM didn't abide by them, instead it was a roll out of, not modernisation, but bullying and intimidation. The time for change is now. No more talks, no more delays, it is time for the rest of the country to support those who have already lost out. Only industrial action will force the Government to take notice of the concerns that, not just the union, but all of us have about the future of this company.

So bloody true. Maybe we should demand the removal and replacement of the entire senior management of RM as a prerequisite for any talks. Not much point in fighting for a fair agreement with a bunch of charlatans who will just ignore it when it suits them.

The removal of Crozier, Higson and Co, has got to be a target for the CWU, plus a complete re-structuring of management at delivery office/mail centre level as well.
The whole management structure has to be one of the poorest in the entire history of not just Royal Mail, but British industry as a whole, far too many managers seem not to have a single clue about how to run a efficient and successful postal service, mainly because of a calamitous lack of the necessary experience.
