how true he will be surrounded by fawning sycophants. he's probably storming round his office like adolph in his bunker while his advisers pander to his every whim.

Did you not see him on Jeff Randalls Sky news programme a couple of weeks ago?

According to him the service is the best it's been for years and RM is hitting every one of Postcomm's service targets. :chuckle The thing is he actually seemed to believe what he was saying, he either has no clue what's happening (which I doubt) or he's just a very convincing liar (more probable).

Our last 3 DOMs got the sack for covering up failures. In fact, I can't remember any management in the last 7 years that was not moved on against his/her will. No, honestly!
I can't rememeber that last time I didn't see at least 3,000 letters left in the frames in our office (based on 1500 per full walk)

And, more to the point ... what is this about there being a frame to declare cut-off/failures?

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
