We had a manager come round with a piece of paper this morn, he read it out & apparently the vote was yes 51% & no 49% i think he was embarrased to read it out to be honest but i'm sure he'd been told he had to.
They could have at least made it sound a bit more realistic like 55/45 they are fools & i really think they credit us with no brains at all!!

Just remind him that the way forward agreement ballot had the same percentage result & RM accepted that with fanfare and trumpets sounding aloud !

Read something on our propoganda board this morning that suggested that the support for industrial action was 60/40 against.
They have taken the figures, given them a good shake than added the people who didn't vote to the no column.
That smacks of depperation.

Using his logic we could use it to say only 15% said No - to strikes
or 85% of members did not say "No"
