yesterdays mail left behind!

yesterday was my day off, on returning to work this morning on my frame was 100 houses worth of yesterdays mail including mail for several businesses, i asked my dom about it and he said it was supposed to be done and some1 haddened taken their part of the lapse, he didnt seem to care about it at all. Should this go down as a failure at all? he never even said he would try to find out who have not taken theirs and walked off into the sunset. if i leave a letter behind ill get done for willful delay and yet he dont show any interest in a whole row of a frame including businesses. very bizarre - i reckon royalmail managers dont really care especially if they get complaints they can use the strike as an excuse!

That sounds about right from the present management. They do not care two hoots about customers or their workforce. Nor does this government give a hoot either. I have voted labour all my life but never ever again. . Great vote result

had the same happen to me, i demanded 1 hours docket for it and my line manager totally agreed, but luckily enough I spoke to 1 of the reasonable 1s. The annoying thing is double standards , if it was me who left it im sure id have been done for willfull

This has happened 3 times that i am aware of in our office Last time was because they put someone on the lapse list who was on a rest day
The mail stayed there and went out next day on absortion. I guess no managers could be bothered to take it out as they all went home at 11.30

It's no surprise that the DOM wasn't interested, and I've heard that it is only counted as a failure if ALL of a delivery isn't taken out - is that really so ?

ive even seen full walks in the frame that didnt go the day before

It's an everyday event in our office,we dont do lapsing,absorbing,if we run out of hours we do the rest on o/t or it gets bought back,some parts of the city only get thier mail every other day,managers dont seem to care.
