Boycott

I think on the news today that Quadrant Catering are putting up there prices again that there should be a national boycott of all canteens???

What do you think??

And how would we go about it?

We could boycott the canteens on strike days

They're having to put up prices to pay for all the free stuff and vouchers they hand out to the strike breakers on strike days.

Wasn't it over a year ago now?
If so. Why are you so upset about it?
Prices do go up, you know.

I don't know about you. But I'm glad of having a Canteen. True, I can't afford to have a proper meal there very often. But it's nice to have it as an option, if I don't have time to eat before I go to work (Late Shift). And I often buy hot drinks (proper Tea, not that disgusting crap from the vending machines!), and snacks from them.

So do I but we could easily boycott those machines, we also have a kettle, cooker and microwave

What canteen?? In our office weve got these modern inventions like a kettle, microwave,toaster and fridge And if you want to be out even later on the rounds than we already are we can stop for a minute and use them.

Luckily, the food at our Canteen is excellent. It's too expensive for me to have a meal there very often. But it's worth it, when I do.
