After all the publicity that has been given to the SUN newspaper and its political views (which it admitted was infuenced by R. Murdoch the owner who lives elsewhere in the world ) will you buy this paper?

Not bought it since the "Gotcha" headline. Unfeeling, jingoistic, liars who report opinions as facts. Its a comic for 16 year olds not a newspaper

I haven't bought it since the Wapping dispute when the owners used every under hand tactic to break the strike and smash the print unions! I was young and niaeve before that though lol! IMHO That paper is nothing but sheeple fodder.
And even when they became discontented, their discontent led nowhere, because, being without general ideas, they could only focus it on petty specific grievances. The larger evils invariably escaped their notice.

TBH I haven't bought the Sun since I was very young (and only slightly more stupid :wink: ) but that said I wouldn't buy any newspaper because they don't tell the news they only report what their owner wants them to.

Sunday Times most weeks for me, not really bothered about the political slant of the editoral.

Dont bother with daily papers unless she who must be obeyed wants to collect tokens for something.

I used to buy the Star, but they are so obsessed with Jordan (yawn) and on the front page it has 20p
But in the small print it says (cheaper than the Sun) and then the real price is in small print. They must think we are mugs. :cfo
