New footwear

Need to order a new pair next week, and with the new choice not to sure what to go for, so can i have your opinions and reviews so far please..

I've got the CAT shoes,quite comfortable, can be worn straight away without any problems and the grip is good. I've put in for the CAT boots aswell but have'nt got them yet as they were out of stock. You can order boots and shoes if your LM authorises it.

I've received a pair of the Doc Martens shoes this week but am sending them back. They are marked as "Industrial" and are heavier and stiffer than the normal domestic types available(of which I have a few). No doubt this means they will give you better protection and lifespan for the shoes, but they are still hurting although the right size after breaking in for a few days just in the office. I have now ordered the CAT shoes having inspected a pair that one of my mates ordered and they seem very substantial for a trainer type shoe - more like a trail or outdoor pursuits item.

no 1/2 sizes in Doc martin or Cat, not good enough realy when you consider the importance of a correctely fitted shoe etc, and the amount of walking.

Still waiting 2 weeks for my new CAT boots.Not like I have sore ,Knackered feet ,and no tread on the bottom of the boots or anything, is there??

The CAT shoes are great,so comfy and looks like they should last 6 months at least.Iv'e seen Screwfix sell the exact same type of CATS for £70!!!!

got Cat trainers .ok but if say your,e usually a 7 1/2 get a size 7 plenty big enough -

Dont go for the D/MS i got a pair and as usual they ripped my feet to pieces to the point were i couldnt go out on delivery so im ordering myself a pair of cat trainers today.

Oh yes - some have no tail, some have a big bushy tail - but ne need to tell you that

The Cat shoes are unlikely to be waterproof looking at them...unless they are goretex which i doubt v much
