Waiting on drop bags?
Today one guy got shafted and told to deliver drop bags for around 8 or 9 different walks. I can guarantee some of the guys were waiting for at least 40 mins at their boxes. The system is goosed....check out pic of back of van...

Re: Waiting on drop bags?
One of the worst days Ive had today since last Xmas, council magazines in, waited 20 minutes for my driver.
Had to step on the gas to finish on time.
Its pointless complaining cos the gaffer will ALWAYS take his side.

Re: Waiting on drop bags?
Many a time I have been waiting for my bags so I now wait untill my bag man leaves the office, I then set off on my bike with around 30 mins worth of mail.
I dont blame him as its not his fault and he takes whats left in my last bag if I decide to cut off.

Why do 4hrs 30min,s...when its 3 hrs 30min agreement, just dont do it ...get a ruleing (instruction) and leave it in office , thats if you dont want to go past your time...if you do, get the docket for it, well thats ok......jockstrapp wrote:Mossman73 wrote:Defo one of the heaviest days for ages. 4 hrs 15mins for my walk today and freekin back breaking. It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.
