saturday 10th & the following one will probably be on a wednesday again

Friday 9th for mail centres , collection hubs , Lamu and EC deliveries.

Saturday for all other delivery units

14th October Wednesday for all of London.

I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

Due to the national result on thursday we could really only go on Friday or Saturday next week so it was viewed that mail centres and collection hubs should go out on the friday and Deliveries on Saturday. If you remember the bank holiday weekend strike was the first time we caused a major backlog and some offices are now being kept in on saturdays for a long period so thats why Branch"s opted for the Saturday.

I see the logic of that Dingo, but does the Friday strike include Network / RDCs ?
(We were out yesterday)

And, as this info is not yet up on the CWU website, should we be alerting managers like headscrewedon of the dates before the CWU have served them with the official notification ? :hmmmm

RDCs and Network is being run by Terry Pullinger so it is his call but he has been keen to link up with our action thus far.

In terms of Royal Mail being told before friday or in advance I dont think it makes much difference, our members get told at union meetings in any case and management get wind in advance in anycase.

Lol very true, just shows the total imcompetence of our managers that they get so much advance warning yet still have no idea whats going on!!!

thats very true stormproof.

In all my years in Royal Mail i have always been amazed how christmas always surprises Royal Mail and they never deal with it properely
