I agree with the way you have handled it, frankly I think he's lucky you didn't lamp him one.
He may as well leave the union all together if that's his attitude.

Wardog, you must have the patience of a Saint. You handled the situation very well, next time that toe-rag needs union help, and berks like him usually always do, pass it up to your branch giving your reasons for refusing to represent him, they'll understand and act accordingly.

In my opinion, you have done the right thing. You have given him every opportunity but he has continually lied to you, and what is worse is that he is only thinking of himself. His colleagues have made the sacrifice and if I read your post correctly, he accepted the decision, but has ignored it. He has brought this on himself and when he needs representation his actions will come back to haunt him. You have gone out of your way to give him chance after chance to abide by the decision but I don't see how you could be expected to represent him when he has refused to accept the decision of his fellow CWU members. You are obviously one of the good reps we have, save your efforts for the members that need your help. (Big thumbs up smiley from me.)

Just another well done to you Wardog :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause :Applause

These scum bags need kicking out of the Union in my opinion. If they wont support You and the rest of the membership then frankly we'd all be better off without them.
It's about time these pr**s realised being in a union is a two way street and that the union isn't there to just help them out when things go wrong.

Good Luck to you and the rest of your office :nana

At my DO 15mins travelling time is built into all duties that use Public Transport both at the start of the 3.5 hour and at the end. Its not included in the delivery span but is included in Duty time.

its the same with all these workers who dont want to go on strike but want all the benefits that the union have fought and won over the years, selfish people who dont deserve representation.
