just a wee query,,we worked for 2 hours thursday then our driver was suspended so we walked 1 1/2 hours sat then same again and now we r been told we wont get payed for this as we never completed our shift....but dims new at 6am on sat that they were sending the driver that started at 7am into edinburgh at 1pm but waited till 7.30am to ask him ,in the mean time all the mail was boxed in...then they called meeting saying he had been sent home so we walked can this be done any employment lawers out there thanks

Anyone tried the small claims court to give the BAST@RDS Aa fright I don't think it costs anything? :hmmmm

This is why the CWU called off the part day strikes.
RM reckoned strikers didn't have to be paid if they didn't work the whole shift
under some law dating back to the 1800s IIRC.
