It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

So keep on moving, moving, moving your feet
Keep on shuf-shuf-shuffling to this ghost dance beat
Just keep on walking down never ending streets

The driver i work beside didnt get paid one day because he didnt cross the line...

Bu ti was just wondering what do they do ?

just stand about all day ?
No. You provide a visible presence, to attract attention to your plight (the standing around bit).
Attempt to stop anyone wanting to cross your Picket Line, and try to convince them to turn back (the most important bit!).
And prove to your Employer, that you aren't just using it as an excuse to have a day off. But are fighting for something you believe in.

it's just another outlook on Reality!
