Currant bun

Post by RTI »

I know this is a day late but yesterday in our brainwashing, oh i mean wtll session, we was fed the usual "its londons problem not yours" spiel but also they handed out a bit of RM headed paper, on it was a snippet from an article in the sun saying how "posties are a hard working bunch, but are being led up the garden path" etc tec.

i find it very funny that managers are now so desperate to change our minds that they are quoting stories from the sun newspaper. whats next, snippets the daily sport. how insulting

did anyone recieve this?

Let the DOMs or Line Managers quote away to their hearts content, it's all rather like trying to shut the door after the horses have bolted. The brothers and sisters will have already made their democratic decision in this ballot and duly apportioned their cross in the ballot box and posted off said ballot paper to the returns officer or equivalent.
"Today’s workplace has become heartless and soulless. Employees are seen as units of labour, automatons, functionaries, objects for achieving designated tasks, and as costs to be minimised."

Hello postie linkinpark, I had no idea you were disrexsic. That explains why you have been delivering my mail to my neighbour across the road from me and giving me his mail. His name is Mike Anoo but my name is Mike Hunt. I will be more understanding in future.

It's when the managers make tea and bring in cake and biscuits for the workers in the morning, and then afterwards all the workers go home early and the managers take out any walks that are left.

Well that's what WTL means in London.
But don't forget that London does have pavements made from pure gold and this contributes to the nice nature that all Londoners are famous for.

The reason The Sun does not sell well on Merseyside is that in April 1989 they published a load of junk on how Liverpool supporters were to blame for the Hillsborough disaster it is probably the lowest thing this tabloid has ever done. Rightly so Liverpudlians have never forgiven them.
