livingston has walked out this morning on unofficial ind action sources has confirmed, mangaers asked a member of staff to cross the edin picket line and if he didnt his pay would be suspended.....same old story isnt it?

You'd think RM would have learned by now: If they keep doing this, they'll cause more Strikes, and suffer more disruption.

i agree they are defo looking for trouble, infact they told a driver yesterday if he didnt cross the line he would loose a days pay, so they knew they would be out at some stage today or tomorrow

South east DO in edinburgh are out aswell same story driver asked to cross picket line.
Rumours that there is another office in the city aswell not 100% sure tho

Not long now and this problem of crossing picket lines will be over.
Its Royal Mails attitude to this that has in part made a National Ballot a necessity/certainty.
It reminds me of their bungled attempt to prevent part day stoppages by deducting a full days pay. It just made offices go on strike for a full day. Idiots...

but its okay for manager to BRING mail out from the mail centre to the DO's so it must be okay for the the to take mail FROM the DO's to the mail cemtre also, to avoid conflict?
why force someone to cross a picket line when this is going on, asking for trouble me thinks
