Whats the minimum time an SA can be?
Hi, our SA is currently an hour long but a certain manager has told me provided this is attached on the end or beginning of a duty it can be any length. I always though S/A's had to be a minimum of 2 hours long regardless....???

In my MC it's a minimum of 3 hours. But most have now been ceased.
And we're hearing rumours that there won't be any Xmas SA this year.

What's SA? It's been removed by EA.

Re: Whats the minimum time an SA can be?
I don't know if it's changed since. But a few years ago, I had 15 mins S/A per day, to drop the Mail, ready for the start of the Shift. If that can be done for indoor staff, then surely it should be possible for everyone else, shouldn't it?
In case you're wondering: It was a temporary situation (a few months), and no-one does the 15 mins S/A anymore.

Anything less then 1 hour aint worth picking up,the minimum contract weve ever had at our office has been a 2 hour slot.

True. But they needed someone to drop the Mail, so that we could start on time. And I certainly wasn't going to work for free!
