Bullyboy manager! Experienced Union Rep needed!

Hello troops.

I have only just got the decision made on this http://www.royalmailchat.co.uk/communit ... =1&t=17180" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; last Wednesday and got a serious warning as a result. It took about 4 months to get the decision.

3 days later the assiastant DOM is trying to pin the very same 3 charges on me! And again he took me in for an informal interview ON MY OWN! I barely spoke to him and my Union rep was not impressed and said he will be having a word with assistant DOM. As the assistant DOM took me in for an interview on my own, I seen this as more ammo for a bullying case??? Yes? No? I can't even go into the details of the new case as I'm so paranoid that my identity will be tracked from this site!

Is there an experienced Union Rep on here that perhaps I could send a private message?

Don't get me wrong my Union Rep is good but I would just like a more experienced Union Rep's view.

I really can't take much more of these bullyboy tactics!!!

So please can any experienced Union Reps get in contact.

After reading your post of events this is now common practice with R/M management the same thing happened to me this morning but my prep was calculated by an area dom. Nothing was said about having a chat but he he did say i hadnt done enough although this is a walk ive never done before and he nows it. We had a little white board that he had rote on it read 07.45 off ips out on delivery 09.30 yeah in your dreams m8 any way out i rolled at 11.45 with a row and a half which took me up to my time. Have your doms given you a prep test yet to see if your up to speed as there is an agreement with the union on how many items you have to throw in a minute take no notice of R/MS figures. But to be honest have a word with your area rep as im sure he will request a prep test before this interview goes any further . Once again a classic example of R/M bullying and intimadation of it workers get in a greivance against this Dom and nip it in the bud. And i think your office rep wont be put out by your going to the area rep anyway he should have contacted the area rep and explained your circumstances.....

this time the case is different though. It's nothing to do with my prep or performance now. It has been brought up to an acceptable standard but Mr Assiastant DOM is looking for and indeed found other issues to conduct me on. Management really are showing no mercy and no happy medium. Bloody bullys!

If you aren't happy with the reps performance then go over his head. It may be the case that this is the first time your rep has seen this whereas the area rep has seen it more and knows how to nip it in the bud. Ask your rep if he minds you bringing the area rep in.

I wouldn't want to go over my reps head just yet. However I think someone has already said that my rep should have already been in contact with the regional rep my now. It's not that I'm not happy with my local rep. I just feel that he perhaps tries a little too hard to please both managers and Union members. A task I wouldn't like to take on. Sometimes we the members benefit and sometimes the managers benefit and on the very odd occasion we both benefit. However lately the managers have become serious bullyboys and the rep doesn't seem to want to tread on their toes too much.

I'd normally get 5/6 pre-sorted trays of letters plus another 2/3 of loose letters plus a usual 8/10 trays of flats (and 3/4 packet bags).
