Post by memo232 »

Quick query;

does anyone know if some annual leave is due during a strike, will you be paid holiday pay or not?

Yes you will be paid while on holiday it happened to me in 2007 - I used the money to get provisions for the picket line.

However RM will include you in the figures as those working to try and undermine the Union.

There is a possibility that my next week's AL will be around the time of industrial action. Is there anyway I can get RM to not use me as a statistic in the column headed 'Picket Swervers'?

Only if you get your AL postponed.
They also count you as 'not on strike' if you are off on sick leave.
