Just watched the dvd that came with the ballot paper info, not a bad job.Was just wondering if it had been sent to all the different newspaper and tv news stations to help get across our point of view to counter the RM spin? Its a YES btw obviously!

All said and done not as bad as this howler:

No. 792/09
Ref KPS/AT
Date: 15/09/09

(All Branches)

TO: THE BRANCH SECRETARY

Dear Colleague

Royal Mail Industrial Dispute - Leaflets

A dispatch of leaflets to workplaces has taken place in support of the Vote Yes Campaign.

It has become apparent that in a number of workplaces the title 'CWU Rep' has been left off the envelope and the workplace address stands alone. This is an error in the mailing process but branches need to be aware that these leaflets have been dispatched.

Please advise local reps to secure this mailing which is obviously a CWU mailing, for distribution in their workplace.

The leaflets can also be downloaded from the CWU website for branches who wish to distribute additional copies.

A further individual mailing has been dispatched to members in support of the Vote Yes Campaign.

Any enquiries, please contact mmurray@cwu.org.

Yours sincerely

Kevin Slocombe
Head of Communications

Weve had rotating days off at our office since the 5 day week was introduced. This is something i cant get my head round how some of you gurs are still on fixed rest days  When your revisions are structured its down to you guys to make sure that your duties are set up with a rotating rest day :Very Happy its not hard to do groups of 5 with a rest day cover.Unless the majority of your office want a fixed rest day i strongly recommend you revert to a rotating rest day come your next revision.
