The strikes are receiving lots of media coverage,and center around new working methods,that is all what the media is saying.
Why is the media not told about the large rounds we do already ,wich have been revised already,so now it is 50/50 as to if you can do your job within time or not .Yet RM tell us these walks wich have been untested in the real world take a lot less than than they actual do

RM are introducing even greater size rounds any one who has ever done a walk can say wether these new rounds can be done or not,yet RM INSIST ON INTRODUCING THESE MEGA WALKS,so if you cannot finnish on time RM managers then either threaten you with loosing a whole days pay or actualy decut a whole days pay even though you have only done your job.

The strike action is causing misery to lots of RM customers,what about RM staff,having to work under the condtions RM impose,the stress the preausure.

Challeng a journalist to shadow a Postie doing a exsisting round,let alone a new mega size round and see how they get on.The Public only ever see us going down a road with 1 bag and some letters in your hand they never see the rest of your mail or your prep we need some media coverage to show just what we do.

listenng to talkshite earlier and they had a whole range of callers.

from a postie who didn't support the strikes.....he either had a number that wouldn't get affected or he was a manager.

an expostie from pre one delivery times....now obviously some posties had it easy then...he made the odd valid point but generally was way off the mark regarding todays conditions and practises.

a royal mail spokesman....nothing said that you wouldn't expect him to say....not gonna slag him off because he clearly hasn;t been bullied , harassed or been a postie so he wouldn;t have a clue.

A high ranking cwu leader (forgot his name lol)....told a art of the story but really skipped over the importants bits that royal mail are going over the employment law line buying harrasing etc.

current posties from enfield.barnsley and kent.....explaining what really has gone on.....ie.walks are so much heavier and longer...bullyig harrasing threats to be taken off pay etc...absorption fr no extra pay even if you had a hard walk before etc.



ii know some of the points have not been mentioned before in the press especially breaking employment law and doing so deliberately

i think this will swing any argument in our favour

when people realise that a company is willing to blatanly ignore the law they know that could be them in that position
