just been told after union meeting that r/mail are trying to get us to work from 9-4pm including saturdays. this is including p/t staff. my answer is we only have to work contracted hrs. anyone else heard this
also in our office we claimed pro del as the mail was terrible. the line manager went out knocking on doors to see what time finshed.
anyone else experianceing the same

Yea we have a rumour floating around at the mo suggesting RM are looking for later starts to incoporate walk sequencing.

the uso wasn't in force when the 9:30 delivery +second deliveries were about but i know that we left sh*t loads this morning came from the mail centre to late
as we only work the hours we are paid and there is no incentive to work anything over our time as flexi does not hapen saturday at all as per agreement on pay and mod (neither do i personaly flex anyway during the week days)

We work 6 till 1 saturday and 6 till 2,12 other days.We were kept on sorting till our usual time .lots of walks cut and returned which was no surprise to anyone except the dom who would not listen.He even made us clear our national trust mags.
