Whats ironic is, you still have a choice to make a decision,it's clear to most people
that if the CWU lose the vote, then you won't get the opportunity to worry about it!

To be fair it is very simple and can be boiled down to 2 things.

Do you accept Royal Mails vision of the future and ALL its plans and ultimately its consequences. Then Vote No in the ballot

or

Do you accept the CWUs vision of an active Union at the heart of the decision making process and helping RM and its work force modernise and adapt. Then vote Yes to Industrial action.

If you want a union to look after your interests in this job then vote yes, if you are happy to be worked into an early grave, take a pay freeze leading to an eventual cut or possibly even statutory redundancy vote no. Take some time to read the posts on here, some members have already lost weeks of pay, IMO there is no choice, vote yes :pray

To be honest its the same tactic they used last time, and it shows the mentality we are up against. The believe money/profit is the main reason for their existence so they use the "you will lose wages/pay" as a way of undermining us. However, some of us believe that we are a service and should remain so, and for us this constant tactic of using pay to undermine us has the opposite effect and makes us feel more and more sure of our position.

Not everyone agrees with us though so lets see if we can have someone post the opposing view without the usual put downs.

I'll be voting No to striking, i'm going to be leaving soon, so i'm going to :funneh shaft my collegues. Luckily i'm only joking.

Even although i am planning to leave RM, next year, not soon enough. I'm still going to vote YES. The management and the way RM is run is just a joke. I'd only stay if they made the job a 9-5, mon - fri.

VOTE YES :Very Happy
