Ok, this can't be me going crazy (I don't think so anyway )
But has anyone else noticed the newish pouches (over the last year or 2) are smaller than the older ones? I don't make huge bundles and I struggle to get 4 bundles and a few packets in one - I doubt I could fit 16kg in it unless it was full of magazines etc. They seem to be the same width but narrower back to front.
Anyone else noticed this? I wondered if it was part of RM's cost cutting like they have done with everything else - killer stickers are smaller, redirection and damage bags much thinner, overtime dockets cheap photocopies, crap bands that whip your fingers and fall apart in the pouch etc etc...

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been. Has anyone seen the mini pouches? I cant for the life of me figure out what theyre for. Some people say theyre paniers, but they have this strange strap that looks like its made out of foam covered in fishnets...Ive no idea how or why or who or what theyre for.

And yeah Montriff they are crap, I must have had a dozen in the last couple of years, whereas my first ones lasted about 6-7 years - a long termer in my office is still using his original blue pouches that are donkeys years old!
The Magnum shoes are another one, they were obviously made to a budget but once RM realised the amount of pairs people were going through they brought back DM's and introduced the Cats as well.

There was one knocking around in my office, it usually ended up getting put on the guy with the smallest walk's frame
