Managers 'Take your head out of your hands'

My one over the last week or so has been seen in his office with his head in his hands,because of exec act coming he's got to sort all the duties out,the rest days,who gets what ect and he hasn't a clue what to do.

Also some managers are at breaking point as they can't handle what is going on.

1st thing,shame aint it :Very Happy
2nd thing,get a backbone and speak up. :roll:
3rd thing,there is such a thing as the press you know. :whistle

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

We had a great manager up to and during the 2007 dispute, he even paid for the bacon butties for the picket line. Unfortunately he saw what was coming, realised he couldn't stop it, so left. Since then we've had a couple that haven't lasted, the last one left us about 2 months ago and is yet to be replaced. Strangely, the office is running fine, even the ever present packet backlog has disappeared. Go figure.

As I've told people on my duty, we're mostly succeeding inspite of not because of the management. :chuckle

Our manager has gone off sick with stress and the assman is contemplating going off too with stress as he is out delivering cut-offs until tea-time every day. :wave

been here before prior to privatization in another service - There was more than a few managers that said " I'm taking the money , I can't work with those idiots in charge " - there was a few others that took the money because the politics were that corrupt making things farcical . That seemed fair enough :hmmmm .

Deja Vue :hmmmm as someone said it's trying to make the impossible work .
