Axminster Delivery Office working their days of for no pay.
Is anyone on here from Axminster Delivery Office Devon.
Was told today that they have signed a no overtime agreement, and will complete their duties without claiming no matter how long they go over,
Even more worryingly they are working their days of for no pay.
Apparently this is so they don't have to do summer lapsing.
IS THIS TRUE
ANY INFO ANYONE
If this is correct they need their F%*king heads testing.
Thanks

I know of some offices who work 1 rest day during the summer for nothing so that they do not have to absorb any duties.delboy wrote:Can't see this being true, you would have to be a wrong in the head to work for free especially for RM..

Some offices HAVE struck a deal where they work a rest day or 2 so they don't lapse,so the offices get their savings straight away and a lot easier.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

Yes. But why would they agree to do COMPULSARY free overtime?
It's hard enough, understanding why someone would want to do free overtime anyway. But to make it compulsary, is shocking!

As far as I'm concerned any OT has to be paid and any agreement otherwise would be on very dodgy grounds. If I work 2 minutes OT I'd expect to get paid.

We have the tick system in place and some people have worked their days off for ticks, basically free, to get all your ticks for the year you could work 3 of your days off
or lapse the equivalent of 3 walks
