Movement on a pay rise

Post by POSTMAN »

There's been some movement on us getting a pay rise.

Must be summin to do with the strikes huh?
I Wrote-During Covid-Which is still relevant now
It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
My BFF Clash
The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

The pay issue is way down the order at the moment, this surely must be the least of our worries. Harassment, bullying, intimidation, shift changes, duty changes, PEGASUS(Sid & Sarah are in training for 2012) etc.

Well I can tell you how accurate this is - tell em to shove it up their ar*e - because 1.5% of fukc all is fukc all. I just wouldn't entertain giving up the fight for a paltry sum like that - or any amount that gives one inch on conditions.

familiar RM tactic, offer a few quid for a minor compromise then drive a horse and cart through it six months later . Come on now lets learn our lessons people.

Royal Mail kindly stick your 1.5% pay offer up your f***ing arsehole. Its not about money, its the bullying , harassment, victimisation and s**t service you c***s are creating You have no management skills and tell the public so much bullshit im choking on it. The 1.5% ( £5.21) per week is a f***ing joke. Keep your blood money you c***s and pay yourselves more bonuses.

I've been thinking for a while, despite the pay freeze,it would be no surprise to see
them offer the network drivers a seperate deal,to get them on board.
personally,a pay rise is not the reason i'm voting for strike action.
A wage rise will always be mentioned during industrial unrest,to alienate/misinform
the public,i would like to see the CWU counteract this claim by saying,if anything
we've asked for a pay cut in terms of a shorter working week.

if this is true then it's the carrot what rm want to get a no vote i know most in my office will vote no because all they see is the £ sign and not the strings that go with it.
