Had problems with childcare today....
Had child care issues today and had to collect my daughter from Nursery in an emergency. I had just posted my last letter and was on my break with the van (at home as needed the toilet) went over to collect her thinking my wife would be home any minute but this turned out to be in correct and I had a panic what to do as I still had the van and my daughter (not allowed to put her in van). So phoned office to explain in the panic slipped up with what I said therefore made it looked like I was lying. With all this managed to get a neighbour to look after daughter while I returned van and picked up car and signed out. As it happened I was back having completed my break as normal when on this duty so had I not panicked and called the office no one would have known. But now I'm worried what's gonna be said tomorrow as have already been told it will be discussed in the morning when I come in.
Royal Mail won't break me, though its been fairly close recently!

Had our little chat in the office today, now its wait and see if they think they have enough info to send me a fact finding interview letter. rep says not to worry they are clutching at straws but that's how RM work and it won't stop them. We think they are disputing the time it would take to get by daughter from the nursery (e.g. they think I picked her up in van) Well hard luck RM I def did not!
