Is this Bullying?

Post by pickaname »

Portsmouth were out saturday and have returned to a s**t storm.

DOM is timing peoples prep rates from afar and pulling staff out who dont meet his targets. He has told staff he thinks they are prepping slowly deliberately.

DOM telling staff they have to do D2D in their own time or face willfull delay.

Staff being spied on while out on delivery and stopped to explain how much they have left and when they should be finished.

Managers prepping excess mail while staff were out on delivery. Staff cannot claim next day due to IA.

Acting managers changing shift rotas weekly so spare staff dont have any saturdays off ever as they cant cover them.

Doesnt sound like a pleasant place to be, although probably not as bad a Stoke.

Oh yea - apparently things are so bad there they had the IB on the floor prepping walks! I s**t you not... :Applause

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.

The daily grind of having to argue your case with an intellectual pigmy of a line manager is physically and emotionally draining.

A JPS is were two managers from outside your area come to your office and interview ( in private ) all members of staff with your divisional rep present .They go away with there gathered evidence then draw there conclusions on what action to take against your DIM DOM based on the evidence . In all my time at R/M ive been involved in a JPS once and the manager has never been able to step foot in our D/O since, but we do have one pending against the present DIM DOM and are just waiting for the wheels to roll.....

Pick all what you have said that is going on in your office has been going on in ours since we returned from 4 days un-offical I/A. If your DIMDOM is out watching people the normal channels are to tell who ever they are watching that they will be watching them. It is also in our favour that we are watched as then this highlights that the walks or duties are to big and exceed the agreed 3.30hrs delivery span. So if i were you lads as long as your doing the job properly and not taing the mickey and are working all your hours none of you have anythink to worry about just laugh in there faces...

DOM isolates people in his office. Only came out in a union meeting this afternoon. Rep is on to it apparently.

You can call it that if you want .Its were you all get to say your piece about your manager and all the stuff hes been doing to you all . Lets just say it a large step above putting in a grieveance form and the consequences are a lot more severe for your DIM DOM...........
have you any guidlines on this
