Just returned from the picket line. a good 18 lads showed. got totally soaked but hey do i care not in the slightest.
guy arrived in lorry and refused to cross the line. manager had to take it in, stalled it was very funny.
office of 90 people, 21 strike breakers. a disgrace.
also heard from local offices, herne bay complete walkout, canterbury, 1 guy out of 300 went in. he will be popular.

Just returned from picket duty like you got soaked but had a laugh. A few s***s and unfortunately, from what we heard they made up about a third of the s***s for the whole of the SE Area, however, heard that St. Leonards were all out but 1 and Hastings had 12 go in.
4 Lorries unfortunately drove across the picket line and the s***s were allowed to go home at 9am and went out smirking.
Still I can hold my head high!!

In the Northern Home Counties Postal Branch we had at present, the following:-
NHCDC = 3 strike breakers (2 OF WHICH NON UNION MEMBERS)
hODDESDON = 10 strike breakers
BARNET - 4 strike breakers
Still checking on the other offices, what we got to be wary of is the strike breakers that are working at different locations to their normal place of work. We also managed to turn round an agency driver who decided not to work.
Good luck to all
