Royal mail modernisation leaflet

Post by steven100 »

Today i was overjoyed  to receive a letter from RM about pay and modernisation. I opened it and read it with great enthusism, well having a right good laugh and thinking what a lot of ****.

Flexability is only one way in RM eyes.

yeah i had mine today too, its just a anti -strike leaflet in my eyes

on a similar line our DOM told us today that he had to give us a anti -strike chat :whistle

he was supposed to tell us what RM has done for us,so he stood there and told us that
"RM have cut your jobs"
"RM have made you work later hours"
"RM have imposed flexibility"
"RM given you a pay freeze"
and he finished his talk by saying i don't blame you all for voting YES :left: and he then walked off  :d'oh!

Good to see a manager with a backbone who is not afraid to stand up and tell the truth, i would like to quote adam crapier "RM employees 25% overpaid 40% under worked compared to the competitors" now the main reason for that is the CWU and its members are willing to loose money in the short term (strikes) for good wages and T&C's over the long term. Now the knock on effect of this is, RM managers are also paid 25% more than the competitors and what sacrifices or fight have they put up to get it naff all, in fact at the moment they are volunteering to come from all over the UK to scab and try to break the very strikes that will in the long term help their terms and conditions and keep their wages 25% above the competition. So come on all our fellow cma comrades join us in our fight instead of fighting against us and ultimately against your selfs.

tolkien wrote:i liked the we "MUST WORK TOGETHER " bit , which must be why our DOM decided to bring in the flexing of 1/2 hour today with 10 mins notice pissing of most of the depot in one easy move ,of course he was long gone when all the cut offs came back , i thought we had to have a days notice for flexing ?? but apparently they can do what they want when they want .
It's completly voluntary,you don't have to do it,end of!!!

yeah I'm keeping that quiet :shhhhh

today we had a reserve manager he always just sits in the office on the pc :cuppa
he unknowingly gave me time to arrange a meeting and rally the troops for a yes vote :dance

That leaflet was the best thing that RM have put out as its upset so many staff :left:
