Dont know what happens at your office, but at ours we are allocated the leave in 3 week blocks which is a real pain, this year mine are early in the year and I already have some leave just before this. Would much prefer to spread them out rahter than have my whole leave in the first 3 months then nothing for 8 months?.

Been with RM for 12 weeks, had to miss out on the family week away because I wouldn't be paid, now I can take a weeks paid leave, I can if there is an empty week available, 60 blokes in the office, what do you reckon my chances are of getting a week before October ? :hmmmm

Id say you have 2 chances jack and the other one :Very Happy, At my office they have already allocated leave for 2010/2011 and I dont have any leave between may and december? 2010.

Thanks for cheering me up, so tomorrow i go and book my hols for 2012 then, but on the heirachy scheme RM operate what s the point ?
Is this just a ploy to get new starters to work 52 weeks a year he wonders :hmmmm

I might be complely wrong and they will give you what ever you want you have a small office compared to me so logistically it should be easier, 150+ at mine, only thing they can do is say no.

Seems strange that when i asked if I was now eligible for paid leave the answer was "5 days, if there is slot available, might be worth the disciplinary to go sick for five days :Very Happy

2010/2011!!! Our DIM doesn't even look at it til October, if we're lucky! Finished signing this year for 2009/2010 middle of April, 2 weeks of holiday slots had already been and gone and not signed for - what a crock of S**t :d'oh!
