it's illegal to work during anual leave. you probably wouldnt be insured. i have seen people work one of their anual leave days, and the phg's would keep quiet about it

Taking Leave
Employees may not attend the office whilst on annual or other leave. This means that employees may not attend the office to work overtime or Scheduled Attendance.

People are reguraly asked in our office to work days in their AL and they actually do it.
That is one thing that I will definately not be doing no matter how much I need the money.

the sheer bloody arrogance of RM over-rides any point, clause, local or National Agreement as and when it suits them .. which is why we are in such a mess now!

why would you want to go in when your a/l as soon as i finnish on the saturday the last thing i want to do is go in on a/l once im off i dont want to go back i dont even want to be in the place

just as i thought theres a few individuals who do, this this week alone one of them will mount up a whopping 40 something hrs of overtime and their holiday pay on top of that, the other person this week will be about 16-20hrs ot whilst on annual leave, i asked if i could work one of my weeks for a reaction but was told this was individual circumstances and i would not be aloud to this where can i take this? oh another whopper is a new start is getting every saturday off!!! outsatnding and thats for threatening to hand their notice in!!

Some parts are still in force, while others have been superceeded by The Pay and Modernisation Agreement. As far as I'm aware, that part still stands.
