Allan Leighton?

Post by tailfly12 »

Allan leighton: is he the worst manager in the history of Royal Mail? He may have turned ASDA around but he has made Royal Mail one of the worst company's to work for. Know he's left the rest of us have to pick up the mess. He calls himself a business man he would'nt know how to run a piss up in a brewery f***ing w****r.

Currently based half of the time in Toronto, Canada, he is advising retail magnate Galen Weston and his son (G1 and G2, as Leighton calls them) on Canadian retail chain Loblaw Companies (for which he is being paid C$1million),[8] and is Deputy Chairman of Selfridges & Co. On April 21, 2008, Loblaw Companies announced that Leighton will take on the role of President of the company, replacing Mark Foote

Good luck canada.

Who is the new guy in his shoes here, he must be locked away in a bunker somewere. :lfo :cfo :mfo :arrrghhh

I bet Weston and his son suck up to him big-time.

As I said once before, an anagram of Loblaw is ...

He made his reputation paying shelf stackers peanuts and sourcing the cheapest crap to stock instore - obviously the perfect choice to sort out the postal industry! At least he is now back where he belongs, god help the canadians though, I hope they have a strong union.

Dunno how many times I have made this point.

Leighton, Crozier,Mandelson they are NOT businessmen. They are hatchet men brought in to cut jobs, overheads and are paid to do simply that.

Crozier tried to be a businessmen and failed miserably. These men are paid vast amounts of money to sack people. ASDA now, i believe, is all part time. Where do you think all this talk of 4 hour contracts has come from. Government don t give a s**t, we work 4 hours we ain't a jobless statistics are we !!

In less that 5 years we will be either gone or part time.............................. :cfo :lfo :mfo

Aye until we brought on Super Shola and changed the game.

He's had a canny few weeks has Shola, scoring 4 in 4 games and winning the Womens 800 metres at the World Championship.
