Letter to Branches
No. 737/09 Ref: 13000 Date: 25th August 2009
TO: ALL BRANCHES WITH POSTAL MEMBERS
Dear Colleague,
VOTE YES CAMPAIGN
The Union is launching a simple postal dispute template to enable us to convey information that can be distributed by all our branches and representatives as workplace fliers. We have enclosed three such fliers which we would like you to distribute as appropriate. These fliers also convey key messages that deal with Royal Mail propaganda and promote both what the Union are for and what we are against. The points raised in these fliers should also be used when talking to our members or at workplace meetings and can be raised directly with Royal Mail managers during work time listening sessions.
Yours sincerely,
Dave Ward

"Today’s workplace has become heartless and soulless. Employees are seen as units of labour, automatons, functionaries, objects for achieving designated tasks, and as costs to be minimised."
