I wonder if 'another guy' asked the senior bloke to sign for the shift, specifically so they could swap ? It would be a way for a junior bloke to use his mate's seniority to get him a shift he'd never get a chance at ? :no no

It's a scam I've seen in operation twice in my RM career. Not everyone is honest or plays by the rules, you know :evil/mad

Makes no difference in my office as a part from an odd few everyone else does the duty they are told to do and it may change as often as the management feel like it.
