Not very likely whilst the USO demands 6 days a week deliveries....Its a shame though I would love it if it was Mon - Fri You never know mate we seem to copy most things the yanks do!

On the duty I'm on at present (well supposed to be on) I doubt they would notice not getting post on a sat as they are all to high from Friday night on a sat and prob sun.

5 on, 1 week off is as a result of sat, thats hell of alot of weeks that no longer need to be covered if they got rid of sat deliverys thus making less need for as many staff
so you'll get your extra day off, then i lose my job

You DOM is a DIM. There isn't enough profit in just Saturdays mail. Look how little there is on a sat and RM struggle to make a profit over a full weeks worth of mail (making Sat a loss-day nodoubt). Sat delivery doesn't make financial sense and should be ditched. THEN WE CAN ALL SLEEP IN SAT MORNINGS YAY!!!
OK some staff will have tro go but guys they are going anyway cause we work for w*****s.

Hmmmm thinks........ 4x10 hour days with a day off plus saturday and sunday would cover increased workload AND keep the rotation duties jobs but cut down running costs for the business.
