Re: On Strike
Royal Mail has to be Britain's worst employer. w*****s masquerading as managers have taken this once great public service back 160 years.
Small wonder the pea-brained management put a halt to our 2 half-day strikes using a law that dates back to the 1870's. Royal Mail management, devious, untrustworthy nerks that they are, belong in a Charles Dickens novel, "Hard Times" would be good one.

Re: On Strike
Clearly RM are going to impose all changes regardless of what the union says. As i've said on previous post the union should retract the 3 months no strikes and press on with further strikes. I'm probably very lucky in as i'm returning for one year (if i last) but for fellow postman who have years ahead (prison maybe better) they should stand up and fight rm all the way.

RM's behaviour is nothing short of outrageous, all this bad feeling gets them no where, a happy workforce works much harder, I can not for the life of me understand there mentality, management worst ever, Stick with it lads I can see lots more of us being in your shoes.

Re: On Strike UPDATE 1
TBH yours is the only way to go - go out and stay out until it's sorted, it may be a short term high financial loss but it is only the same as a day here and there for weeks on end. The one thing about going out completely is it focuses the negotiators minds on the present and I hope the main union takes a leaf out of your book and doesn't ar*e about with half a day here and a day there. Whilst mail is moving there is no real impetus to sort anything out.
