Just occured to me on round this morno as mind was a wandering in all this excitement, that if all of us posties were givien control of running the UK forever, what/who would be in your top ten for change?

What laws would you bring in and which ones would you get rid?

What jobs would you give to all the DIMS?

Which MPs would you get rid of and why?

Which ones would you keep and why?

How would you treat bullying managers?

How would you

How would you make our job better?

How would you run the railways and roads?

What would you have on TV especially Sat night's ?

How would you make it safer for our kids?

What food/drink would be banned?

How easy would it become to buy a house?

Any more?

Voting system - a more representative Political system.
Get rid of the Lords and introduce a 2nd house all elected, that by law cannot be organised on a party system.

get Rid off - 28 Days Detention and Compulsory ID Cards

Bring in - Increase minimum prison terms to 75% of tariff

Get Rid off - Jail Terms for 1st offence of theft (especially woman, why, because a higher percentage of women are jailed for a 1st offence of theft than men).

Public Transport as a whole should be a lot cheaper and more frequent and if necessary should be subsidised from Road Tax - Road Tax itself should be based on mileage and engine size not just emissions.

I wouldn't give them any job, nor let them have a job. Make them sit at home watching Jeremy Kyle and re-runs of Quincey while waiting for us to deliver their giro.

:no no I would have them doing deliveries, let them know that it can't be done in the time and that you can't have 20 cups of coffee during your day.

Got news for you most if not all will after they have run us all into the ground and then it is thier turn most will not last two weeks!. Why do you see them all now throwing walks out or seging the mail?. Their time has come and will be gone in a coffee break!.
