When Leighton left RM, how much was his golden hand shake worth?

With all the trouble with the banks etc, he seemed to have left via the back door in a quiet manner.
Trust Royal Mail? God help us all.....

I think he already got a few dozen of them for free as a backhander when they bought thousands of them.
How much did they cost each? I'll bet you the cost of a PDA he could of got them cheaper down at Curry's.
