Have you asked for a buy down? Just wondering if it is something that may be sent to all eventually.

We got them in March with a questionaire - I binned mine. :Very Happy

We got them a few weeks ago. Then 2 weeks after they were due to be in by, RM announced they were looking to remove 400 hours from my office. Preference Exercise my a***.

Well my advice would be, don't dismiss the idea out of hand, depending on your age and circumstances, and the offer of course I would give it serious consideration.
I took it 3 years ago, I wanted EVR and applied for both - obviously didn't get the EVR but turned 60 a few weeks later so had two nice lump sums and the pension so .................

It's good to get these types of threads, the ridiculous my manager said bollox, so we can reassure ourselves that while the world is falling apart, Royal Mail managers are still being the low-life C***S they have always been.
