Re: annual leave cover
When you are covering someone on annual leave you should be in fact covering the delivery that they are on. The rest day of that duty should be your day off.austinbob wrote:Hi there all i wonder if you can answer a question ,im a annual leave cover in my small sub office and was informed last week for the first time that i would have to take the rest day of the bod i am covering not my own rest day is that right can anyone shed some light many thanks
The time has come to stop turning the other cheek, time to stop shaking our heads in bitter dismay, time to stop mumbling our angry words.
The time has come for union.
The time has come for union.

Re: annual leave cover
Unless your contract states your day off. mine used to it was great as they could only change it by asking me first so had the op to say no. No my contract is effectively as and when RM feel to abuse me, but still have final say if they wanna change my day off (the only good thing that seems to go on in my office at mo)Broxi51 wrote:When you are covering someone on annual leave you should be in fact covering the delivery that they are on.
