Long term sick

I have been on long term sick, due to my arthritis for approx four months now. I have been going mad at home day time telly etc . The only thing keeping me sane is looking forward to the courier falling on my door mat first thing in the afternoon. Ps should I have a HYS form to fill in ? :nana

4 months - are you going back soon as if not watch out for the reduction in pay after 6 months total sick (taken over 5 years IIRC).

On the HYS survey - I have no idea.

No I dont think I will be returning to work. I was told that I will be offered medical retirement.
Crap really because there is loads I could do , apart from deliveries. Been with Royal Mail 25 years , yet they still cant make a duty up for me !

Your right it is crap zola- though its not surprising in the caring world of RM. Only a few years ago they would have put you in the locker or callers office - not now :sad: :mad

In about 2006 we lost our night shift. Everything is costed to the nearest penny. There are two M/C within a hours drive of me but no full time work there either.

It just sucks :sad: what ever happened to the long term light duties we used to have :cry
