HI GUYS HOPE YOU READ MY TOPIC ON THE CON ON 1-7-2009 THINGS HAVE MOVED ON TODAY 6-7-2009 WAS READY TO LEAVE THE OFFICE WENT FOR MY POUCH TO FIND A LETTER ON TOP IT WAS FROM OUR DOM HE IS REFERRING MY CASE TO THE DSM FOR INTENTION OF INCITING UNREST HE FEELS HE SHOULD NOT DEAL WITH THE CASE BECAUSE IF PROVEN IT MAY WARRANT A DECISION OUTSIDE HIS AUTHORITY, MAY I PIONT OUT THAT WHEN HE SPOKE TO ME LAST WEEK HE SAID THAT OUR OFFICE WAS THE ONLY OFFICE WHERE THESE FLYERS HAVE BEEN HANDED OUT SO I MUST HAVE MADE IT ALL UP !!!!!, I SPOKE TO THE AREA REP TODAY ALL HE DID WAS LAUGH, TO BE HONEST I JUST FEEL LIKE CALLING IT A DAY AND TELL THEM TO SHOVE THIER JOB

Don't do that that is what they want get your area rep in and don't worry how can the truth about management bounses be incitement and the rest of the flyer is in all the newspapers esp the DAILYMAIL is he going to charge you with incitement for reading the DAILYMAIL he is a FOOL!.

We got copy sent through the post from our CWU branch for all to see. questioned the manager as to how much he got but he said he never got anything. no one threatened here with inciting trouble. Tell him I think he's an ARSEH@LE that way you can't get blamed for saying it.

TBH anyone reading the Daily Mail is a fool

To be honest I quite enjoy reading the Daily Mail (online only, I won't pay them to read it) simply because it is so biased and unbelievably right wing that I can get well and truly offended.
Unfortunately they have never, ever published any of my posts in the comments section, I wonder why?
And yes DGP, I agree, I'm a fool, I must be, 9 years with RM would crack the sanest nut.

Regarding the original point, we still have the newspaper clipping pinned to the CWU notice board and it's not incited us any more than everything else RM try.

yes the Daily Rant , or Daily Sieg Heil as it supported Mosely's fascists in the 30's , that commie ; left wing rag , that manager would be laughed out of court and the DIM DUM / DSM would be a laughing stock outside the PO .

Take no notice , he's trying to break your b***ocks as they're threatened , just a bully , there's all sorts of insidious ways of doing it . Always , Always ! call RM's bluff - it's just a game or a gamble to them , don't play on their terms .

You have grounds to B&H him or at least bang a grievance on him , use that rope if you will , in the letter to hang RM with as I'd like to see RM wriggle out of that one , the DIM DUM may be less inclined to try on again with someone else OR he might have a big chip on his shoulder about it

Unfair detriment for LEGITIMATE union activity is a serious offence though RM will go to extreme lengths to disguise that , hence the threatened trumped up charges , the DIM DUM / DSM is just looking for brownie points .

They are the higher stakes if you will . The big picture is that RM directors & senior managers have had their arses smacked by Hooper & Mandy so they'll do anything to break and slur the union .

They like to drag people down to their sad , surreal & pathetic level i.e. hoping people are daft enough to believe all that B/S - if that works , they've succeeded but a bully is always going to meet his match some day

Would the DIM DUM or DSM try that on with a rep ? - no not always , because a bully is a mere coward . Unfortunately RM has a vicious paranoid system

As others have already said: Don't quit, that's what they want. As to the accusation that your making things up, about it being on display, and circulated elsewhere: That can easily be disproved. It won't take much effort for your Area Rep to phone round, to find out which Offices have it on display. So you've nothing to worry about there.

Although he's streatching the point almost beyond belief. It could be argued, that such an injustice could incite Strike action. But it simply hasn't happened! The evidence is all around the Country. Yes there are obviously Strikes happening at the moment in RM. But they've nothing (to my knowledge) to do with the Manager's Bonuses. They're all to do with RM breaking agreements, and basically trying to break the Union.

The 'CON' news article is on the union notice boards, it is not something that as been made up by the employees, it is public knowledge therefore, if your managers wants to discipline you, he/she better start with the media first because this is where the information has come from and it is well welcomed. Most of the managers were unaware of this article until it was pointed out to them by many posties, they did not realise this had been going on.
