HALIFAX "FLAGSHIP" OFFICE

Does anyone here work at or have any information on the Halifax branch on Commercial Street concerning this offices recent refurbishment?

I have read in a local Halifax newspaper that they were shut for 12 days.

Also for those who know what I am talking about, was it a simple, simplex or complex refit.

Any and all information would be great.. such as were there any health and safety issues that came up during the refit, if so what was done about it and where did the staff go during the 12 day closure etc etc.

I heard that they had found asbestos, and that is why it closed.

I too read somewhere that was something to do with asbestos in the building. Is it still a Crown Office or Franchise job?

Yes that's where I got most of the info originally, of course it makes no reference to the asbestos.
