I am sad anounce the death of Bob Seaton a postal worker at the North West D.O. in Edinburgh for around 20 years he was a young man age around 48 who was dignosed with cancer late last year, not only was he a fellow worker iam proud to call him a close friend, for the last 8 years he worked as the a level tasks duty in the office and unlike some in this postion he did not see himself as a manager lackey but he was my man in sideman (i was the rep there for 12 years) and kept me one step ahead of royal mail managment. i send my deepest thoughts to his wife and the rest of his family.

thanks to all who have repied in this difficult time but all messages are wellcome i have know doubt that his memory will live on in many posties hearts as he was one of a kind thoughtfull and a kind man

RIP Bob - it sounds as though you will be missed by the lads. Deepest condolences to the families and friends of Bob, a man many of us would have been proud to know.

A sad day. I have had dealings with Bob on many occasions over the last few years. always very highly spoken of by postmen and managers alike. Rest in peace friend.
