Goodbye...and Good Luck..!!

Post by Sparx71 »

I have taken EVR after nearly 20 years and leave on 25/06/09...just like to say, its been a pleasure working with the frontline staff in Southampton,at the mail centre and Delivery Offices. I wish all of you everywhere, up and down the country, the best of luck for the future, and hope things get better. Keep fighting the fight, and putting the customers first. The management can kiss my lillywhite ass...

The time has come to stop turning the other cheek, time to stop shaking our heads in bitter dismay, time to stop mumbling our angry words.
The time has come for union.

If he's so "lucky" to be leaving, as so many above seem to think, then why don't more of you desperately unhappy people leave too?

You know, actually DO something about the situation rather than just go on the 'Net whining about it?

I've always said there is nothing wrong with the job, it's the way its been run thats the problem! - I quite enjoy working in an environment where managers run around like headless chickens trying to do the job and fail, i won't go that extra mile for royal mail unless pay is significantly increased, so all in all its great watching management make a mess. The time to go in my opinion is when management know what they are doing!

Oh, phantom- I thought you were one of us!most of us loved the job to death before-and hang in here and fight to
at least try and get it back to the way it was!Forlorn hope maybe, but I only know one or two posties who truly feel we have 'nothing to moan about--maybe by chance they have always had good walks, decent Managers, anetc.
Still, each Man to his own as they say.you must be a saint!
