HOW DO YOU REMOVE A REP
Hi all has anyone got an idea how to remove a rep ours should be a manager, the members in our office are up in arms quite simply the rep agrees with everything the manager wants to do, we found out on saturday that summer lapsing starts today with no involvment with the staff i think with the way things are going the C.W.U will not have any members in our office most are going to pull out and i am thinking about doing the same, so can you guys come up with a way to remove the rep so we can get one in with some backbone.

Now mate, We have been lapsing saturdays in our office for months now, and basically the thinking in our office is if it can be done in your contracted hours over the week then you gotta do it.
If it takes you over your contracted hours then thats a different matter.
The lesson, make sure you dont owe hours come saturday and work to your time.

rep does not want to know when you ask a question you get no reply so why take the job if you are not going to stand up for your members, rep does not go to meetings or read the mail from the union, could it be the rep got what they wanted the phg position most of the office think so,

Get a copy of our last agreement with RM after the strike in 07. In the agreement you will find that if they are lapsing a duty it is so that another member of staff can take annual leave during it. You then get a group of you's go up to the manager with a copy of the lapsing part in the agreement and say that you want to take annual leave since you are lapsing. If your Dom says no then you all tell him that you are not lapsing then as he is not sticking to the agreement.
The time has come to stop turning the other cheek, time to stop shaking our heads in bitter dismay, time to stop mumbling our angry words.
The time has come for union.
