I ve had a bad few days with my ankles. Last fri whilst on delivery and for no real reason my right ankle seemed to cramp and then started to really hurt sending shooting pains into my calf. I carried on thinking it would get better but by the end i was limping badly. I rested in the afternoon and on Sat it was thanfully a lot better, just an ache. Tried to rest as much as possible on Sunday and was pleased to awake on monday morn without any pain or stiffness

Started my walk today (Mon) and the right ankle held firm

BUT then my LEFT ankle started to hurt and once again by the time i finished i was limping

. Cant win !
So ok i am in my early 40's and expect the odd twinge here and there but since the extra was put upon the deliveries under SDD i ve really noticed aches and pains getting worse. Also there has been a big jump in people going sick back at the office which is not a good sign.
They used to say that a postman life was good exercise but that was when the deliveries were less than 2 hours, now i am walking for more than 3hr 30 min and starting to think is it doing far more harm than good
