advice please?

can anyone give me some advice, I've been a reserve for 4 years I'm full time, there are 4 vacant duties in my office, which are being covered by p/t guys. myself and the 2 other reserves who are also f/t, would like to know why the dom does not have to advertise these duties, he has advertised a 10/18.00 duty but nobody in the office wants those hours. is there a way that we can get these duties advertised. tim64.

It's a while since I've heard of anyone being made up to full time hours, full ime vacancies being covered by part timers and only full timers able to apply for full time vacancies - not sure if this is everywhere though.

You need to get hold of the WAY FORWARD NATIONAL AGREEMENT, your Area Rep should have one, if not then your Branch should have one.

It comes under Mini Picks and all vacant duties should be advertised.
