really peeved off, been told to give prority to door to door next week even if it means that mail doesn't go out !!!!
Also Managment hide half a dozen yorks of second class flats today in favour of getting mailsort boxed in, surely this is willfull delay of mail

Perhaps in the real world it would be - however in Royal Mail its an operational necessity.

Wilful delay is only when WE delay it. As TBT says if management delay it it becomes "operational neccesity "

One of our dims today brought a half pouch of mail back this morning from a delivery he had to do the day before, so much for not taking mail home imagine if there had been a bag check and one of the footsoldiers had done that.
