Im sure they are getting less pages in everytime we get them. And the comments section has got even smaller. Obviously dont want to know the truth in how we all feel. Will be looking forward to them printing the comments out for us all too see including management.

Next time add an A4 sheet for comments.I did notice there were fewer questions this time round.

When ours came back this time, we had quite a few on the comments page which said " sensitive comment refered to HR". Never seen that before, yet I think there were 3 or 4 instances of that, including one of mine !!

The last time we got ours back there where 2 comments which where out of place, they praised the manager and blamed everything on the union rep. but on speaking to many of the staff nobody seems to say that but the manager has had the suspicion that he fills the HYS forms in himself follow him around his previous offices I personally find it very suspicious that the tone and wording are the same but I know that if I flag this up I'm the one who will get into trouble.

Seems to be a well used ploy, however many of us refused to hand them back to him and would use the addressed envelope supplied, as I told him, not accusing you of anything, but you are leaving yourself wide open to accusation, and do you know his face seemed one of genuine suprise that anyone would think such a thing !.

Better still perhaps redman can clarify for us in his managerial position. Is the completion of Have Your Say Surveys voluntary or not? And if the completion is on a voluntary basis, why then are managers abrogating WTL time for this?

Had the same guff at my own DO during WTL, where staff were lead through each question contained in the survey by the DOM, pure theatrical to say the least. I did as I recall point out to the DOM that these surveys as far as I understood, were to be completed only on a voluntary basis, in other words their completion is not compulsory or mandatory as managers would have us believe. And if RM insist using WTL time for their completion and putting me under duress to complete when the choice is a voluntary choice and I could happily give my answers some credible deliberations at home in my own time, then I would have no hesitation to tick all the boxes on the far right-hand side and would most probably not be the favourable result that they were looking for.

And I certainly did not hand it back to the manager.

We filled ours in and then sealed them in the envelopes (on our lino's instructions), he didn't try to lead us on the questions either. I think RM will be giving themselves a pat on the back we they see just how low morale is.
One guy requested more live music and dancing girls in the comments box, I wonder if they will refer that to HR?

they act on them if theres a large amount of disatisfaction from the workforce shown, they have done so in my office.

Posties should be alllowed to fill-in the Have Your Say forms at work or at home and should not be forced to give them back to the manager, espeacially if a return envolope is supplied and senior managers need to take some of the comments seriously.
